Application Process – Applications for minor exterior modification including tree trimming or removal, paint, siding, roofing, decks, fences, hardscape, outbuildings stairs, solar panel, carports can be downloaded on our website at https://awac.biz  A Fee Schedule is also included on the website.  Applications may also be picked up during business hours at the AWAC office. Completed applications and fees can be submitted to the AWAC office in person, via mail or to info@awac.biz. At this time, application fees can only be paid via cash or check made payable to AWAC. Trees – Trees need to be trimmed or removed for a variety of reasons. Trees that encroach on neighboring properties, present a hazard, are displacing structures, are diseased or dead will be approved for trimming or removal. If an insurance carrier has noticed the property owner that a tree must be trimmed or removed, please include a copy of the notice with the Tree Trimming/Removal application. Please note: trees cannot be trimmed or removed solely to create or improve views. Completed Tree Trimming/Removal applications must be accompanied by a sketch of the location of the tree on the property.  Trees to be trimmed or removed should also be marked for easy identification during the inspection process.

Paint –  Paint colors must be approved. Earth tones, muted blues, grays and whites will be approved. Intense, brilliant colors will not be approved. Shades on the red spectrum, including all shades of red, orange, purple or pink, will not be approved. Yellow shades may not be approved. Please include color samples with the application. If you are painting the home the same color, please include photos of the existing color with the application.

Siding/Roofing – Product brochures or photos of siding and roofing must be included with the application. Please note AWAC does not have access to samples of siding or roofing. Approved roofing textures and brands can be found on this website under Applications and Forms.
